My mother was a great one to remind me a few thousand times over my youth that “Brian… It is not what you say, but how you say it.” WTF, Mom? Umm – I mean, to what do you refer, dear mother?

OK, the original redhead in my life had a point – she usually did. This thought of her words came filtering back into my mind the other day when we (meaning I) had to stop to use the men’s room at the traffic circle in Harriman State Park.

Suzuki Announces 2023 Returning Models

Last year, Suzuki released several all-new or significantly updated motorcycles, including the third-generation Hayabusa, the newGSX-S1000 naked sportbike, and the newGSX-S1000GT and GSXS1000+ sport-tourers.

With summer just around the corner, Suzuki has announced the return of several 2023 model-year motorcycles in the sport, dual-sport, supermoto, and off-road categories.

The ride starts in Newton, New Jersey and will end at the Red Wolf Inn on Route 519 in Belvidere.

The Backroads Summer Sojourn

This summer we won't be squeezing anymore.

Nope - we'll being sojourning!

Following the basic formula of our Spring and Fall Rallies - the Summer Sojourn will cover lots of miles and offer plenty to see and experience.

We will be starting and finish this long weekend adventure in the familiar haunt of West Dover, Vermont, arriving Friday and returning on Monday.

In between we'll be up in the Mount Washington region and roaming around the White Mountains of New Hampshire and Maine.

As always we'll offer a few rides through the weekend and

Brian's day trip on Sunday will follow along a Rockin' in the Free World theme... without the Earthly political BS!

In fact, you might just get hold of something a bit

off-worldly. Trust us - what could go wrong?

Thunder in the Valley!

Johnstown's annual Thunder in the Valley motorcycle rally is held the fourth weekend in June, centered in downtown Johnstown and the surrounding Johnstown area.

Located about 60 miles east of Pittsburgh, Johnstown is accessible from State Routes 219, 56, 403, 22, and 271. Johnstown offers numerous hotels and lodging options, which fill up quickly due to the large number of Thunder in the Valley out-of-town guests.
