For the last few months we have been discussing the Human Senses and how they affect us as riders; sometimes to our benefit and other times to our detriment. Smell Our sense of smell is called the process of olfaction. Olfaction is the sensation of smell that results from the detection of odorous substances aerosolized in the environment. Along with vision, taste, hearing, and balance, olfaction is a special sense.
Humans are able to detect odors through the components of the olfactory system. I think that smell is one of the least thought of and yet one of the most remarkable of the senses.
After Honda released the iconic CB 750 Four, they designed and released the CB 500 Four and then the CB 350 Four. Today we're taking a look at that motorcycle and why it's just kinda weird...
Back on a cold December evening in 1965, something happened that would change the small Western Pennsylvania town of Kecksburg forever. Countless people across the state – and the United States – tell of seeing a streak of light bolt across the sky. Nobody knew what it was, even after it landed in a field in Kecksburg. Locals claim it was a spaceship. Whatever it was, the U.S. Army spirited it away, and a legend was
born.
Today, townspeople celebrate the legend with this Pennsylvania UFO Festival.
Vermont, like many other states, has a unique and fascinating history.
This state also has some very interesting facts to go along with the history. For instance, the longest historic covered bridge in the U.S. is right here in Vermont and New Hampshire (Cornish–Windsor Bridge), and did you know that there are more covered bridges per square mile in Vermont than anywhere else in the United States?
Another interesting fact about Vermont bridges comes to us from the historic Brookfield Floating Bridge in Vermont.

The seventh-inning stretch, when fans rise from their seats for a brief break after the top of that inning is complete, is as much a part of Major League Baseball as beer at ballparks and booing umpires. But the origins of the American tradition, which may date to 1869, are as murky as the ingredients in a hot dog.

We all need to be better riders and these two days with Reg Pridmore and company will do just that.
Since his beginnings as a racer in 1961 to his 3 AMA Superbike Championships, to CLASS beginning in 1986, Reg Pridmore has maintained an unending enthusiasm and desire to help riders by teaching control, technique and survival. From the very first days in his race leathers in Denver and Riverside, to most of the best tracks in the USA with the full CLASS team, to D-Days and Motor Officers Advanced Training at Streets
of Willow,
Reg’s CLASS continues to expand street rider enthusiasm and skill in a way that track days and race schools can’t.
There are still a VERY limited number of spots open and this might just be the last time CLASS is held here in the east.
I have visions, I have visions of a happy land
And in this happy land, happy land
There is still one unhappy man
Because of all the things he wants
There is always something he can't have...
