It is hard to miss those ubiquitous disclaimers that precede every TV show or film these days and in addition to sex, drugs & Rock & Roll, strobes, and possibly actual humor one mentioned “product placement.”
As if I should be fearful that strategically placed can of Coca-Cola, that bottle of Heineken, or that very pretty Ducati or Triumph
would cause irreputable harm to my fair psyche.
Oh, and why is every scene with motorcycles these days almost always ridden by evil henchmen with Uzis?
Yes, I could go on about how motorcycles are portrayed in the media… but that’ll be for another time.
I do
wish to talk about Product Placement of another type.
In order to save the planet and help prop up those running the oh-so-fun lithium mines in Africa Backroads has decided to only talk about and feature electric motorcycles.
No more fun high-powered gas guzzling machines... Yes - we are going to help save the planet, even if some think we don't even live on this
one. You can help too.... or not.
Is the H-D Pan Am a Super Hooligan in ADV Clothing?
Almost a year ago, Harley-Davidson Motor Company invited motojournalists to Inde Motorsports Ranch in Arizona
to ride Kyle Wyman’s 2021 Mission King Of The Baggers H-D Screamin’ Eagle Road Glide Special. RevZilla’s Zack Courts was one of the rider-writers who attended the event, and he wrote an excellent first-person account of what it’s like to “ride a thunderstorm,” as he so aptly and poetically put it.
The article contained a photo of Wyman aboard a Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250, which he rode while showing the motojournalists
who sampled his KOTB racebike the fast way around Inde’s road course. That photo struck a chord with me. Here was Wyman on a so-called “ADV” bike, admittedly shod with sticky Dunlop rubber, but he had his knee down, and his laptimes were faster than the scribes who were aboard his KOTB racebike. All I could think of was “Super Hooligan.”
Indian Challenger RR – 2022 King Of The Baggers Race Replica
When you’ve got to have the baddest bagger on the block, Indian Motorcycle is now offering the Indian Challenger RR to the public. It’s built to the same specifications and by the same hands as the bike Tyler O’Hara raced to the 2022 King Of The Baggers championship.
Just 29 will be built, a nod to O’Hara’s
#29 championship-winning bike, and they’re a near duplicate of the bike O’Hara rode during the 2022 season, including a hot-rodded V-Twin that likely produces in excess of 170 hp.
“Let us downshift a gear or two, find a spot, and put
the kickstands down on Conversation Street.”
Let's talk about a serious journey.

When you hear the word bioluminescence, do you think of glowing ocean waves under a dark sky? Many do. But, bioluminescence includes all life that – through a chemical reaction – emits light. In the image above, a single-celled form of marine plankton, known as bioluminescent dinoflagellates, are
the source of the light on the incoming waves. But in addition, there are bioluminescent creatures in the deeper ocean, too. And we here on Earth’s dry land sometimes see bioluminescent creatures flying in the air.
First, about the image above, which is from the Maldives, an island nation in the Indian Ocean, southwest of Sri Lanka and India.
A homeowner in Oregon was left scratching his head after he discovered a sizeable 'snow circle' that had appeared in his backyard moments after a mysterious flash lit up the night sky. The curious case reportedly occurred at around 4:30 in the morning on December 31st in the community of La Pine. While preparing to go to
work, the witness told MUFON, his dog seemed to be particularly agitated. When he brought the animal outside, the sky suddenly became illuminated, which led the man to wonder if "maybe a power line is down as it has been a pretty rough winter out here." However, as he ventured further out into his backyard, the witness stumbled upon something that seemingly defied explanation.
Can you think of a better way to spend a bit of time
outdoors than chasing waterfalls? If you’re a fan of Mother Nature’s perfect creation, set off on this picturesque path in New Jersey. While the trail is drenched in natural beauty, the highlight is undoubtedly the beautiful cascade at the end. Don’t forget your camera!.
